They’ve been sleeping for 6 years…and the awakening comes…with WOLFGANG’s ‘Black Christmas Project’ a double-barreled live concert on December 10^th, with brothers-in-arms Razorback, at the Eastwood City Ampitheater.

The show will also mark the launch of the band’s 6^th studio album, tantalizingly called WOLFGANG VI, for the meantime. First single “Ibrahim” has been released on Manila radio stations.

The band, who can best be described as the overlords of Filipino rock, are the only Philippine rock band to release albums in Japan and the United States. They are also the only Philippine heavy metal act to breach platinum records on their home ground.

WOLFGANG has consistently bagged “Artist of the Year” (1998, 1996) and “Album of the Year” (1999) as well as ‘Listeners Choice’ awards (1999, 1998, 1996) or individual member awards for excellence at the influential NU 107 Rock Awards each time they have released an album; with lead vocals Sebastian Artadi holding the record for four “Vocalist of the Year” awards (2000, 1999, 1998, 1996), unsurpassed to this date. Manuel Legarda has been recognized as “Guitarist of the Year” twice (2001 and 1995) and Ramon Legaspi has been named “Bassist of the Year” (1996).
