Jack Daniel's The JD Set Philippines

In the beginning, 13 local independent bands were selected to join the JD Set. Via the bar gig series called The JD Long Sets, all the bands showcased their original compositions and performance prowess.

From the 13, the Jack's Chosen 7 were selected:
Kelevra, Jack Versus the Crab, Blue Boy Bites Back, Paramita, Playphonics, Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus, and Stories of Now.

These bands then campaigned to be the JD Set No. 1 through 100% fan votes. The winner will represent the country alongside artists from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia among others, in the Asia Pacific regional event of Jack Daniel's in 2012.
