Kuwago was formed in June 2008 with Pao Racho on vocals, Enzo Cabayan and Mike Arce-Ignacio (Mecha Hell) on guitars, Joma Fernandez on bass and Marvin Sayson on drums. They have been performing at bars and events since, each one progressively more aggressive and powerful than the last.

Changes and adjustments had to be made when Lex Formoso joined the band in 2009, replacing Mike on guitar. Marvin left the country shortly after recording tracks for the album and was later on replaced by Mike Gemina. These changes, forced as they were, shaped the band into what they are today: ruthless, relentless, and unforgiving.

This three year old band has not only learned to crawl, walk and run - Their debut album was recorded and produced in 2010 by Nick Lazaro of Twin Lobster. Songs include crowd favorites such as Sin Is Crouching At Your Door, Conflagration and Verbose (a collaboration with former member, Mecha Hell)

Break Your Relics is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2011 at SaGuijo, Makati City. Performing with Kuwago are bands and friends Giniling Festival, Salamin, Tonight We Sleep, Skarm, Twin Lobster and Wilderness. Entrance is free!
